CL05 4mm scale Class 900 4-4-0 locomotive
£110.00. Packed Weight 400g
C.R. numbers 900-902,887-899; L.M.S. numbers 14337-48 (saturated), 14434-7 (superheated)
Generally known to enthusiasts as the Dunalastair III class, these majestic locomotives were built at St. Rollox during 1899/1900 for top-link passenger work. Some were rebuilt with superheaters during the period 1914-18 - the kit allows either variety to be built. The last survivor was withdrawn as B.R. 54434 in 1948.
Originally coupled to 8 wheel bogie tenders, these engines generally acquired 6 wheel tenders during the 1930s. Please note that this kit is for the locomotive only; depending on the period you model, either tender kit CT2 (4125 gallon bogie type) or CT3 (3570 gallon 6-wheel type) is required to complete the model.
14348 with bogie tender at Dalry Road shed, Edinburgh on 9th August 1932.
