50' 8 wheel semi-corridor stock.
This is a new range of kits which is actively under development. Delivery of CC30-32 should be late 2024/early 2025.
The others might be slightly later.
Originally built for the Oban line there were two distinct series of these coaches.
The first were built in 1910 during the MacIntosh period and were stylistically similar to the contemporary
"Grampian" stock. These had full side panelling, panelled ends and a slightly lower roof-line. Kits CC30, CC32 and
CC33 represent the three variants of these coaches and will be supplied with a resin-cast roof.
The second series were built in 1919/20 during the Pickergill period and were stylistically similar to the
contemporary 57' stock (See kits CC01-CC08) with full elliptical roofs, simplified side panelling, matchboarded ends
and queenpost underframes. Kits CC34, CC35 and CC36 cover the three variants of these coaches. Roof type is still to
be decided.
Later in their careers they ranged far and wide being photographed at Inverness and Bangor in Wales for example.
